Delete your Rivals account

From the app (immediate)

Open Rivals → Profile → the gear at the top right (Settings) → Account → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is deleted on the spot.

Without the app

Email welcome@tryrivals.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my Rivals account". We confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Your account and email address, your name, age and profile photo, your onboarding answers, every daily number you logged or that came from Apple Health, Health Connect or Strava, your chat reactions, your device push tokens, your Strava connection (the tokens we held are deleted; you can also remove Rivals under Strava → Settings → My Apps), and your promo code redemptions.

What stays

Challenges you created stay for your rivals, marked as cancelled if they were still running, without your name. Chat messages you wrote stay in those challenges so the conversation still makes sense, shown as from a deleted account, with no link to you. Nothing else is kept.

Rivals Pro: deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because billing is handled by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions first. Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as tax law requires.

If a database backup was taken before the deletion, it rolls over within 7 days; after that, no copy of your deleted data remains.
